It has always been the case that cultures naturally exchange information, knowledge and beliefs with each others. In the 21st Century, we are blending the past into the present, the East into the West and back again.  We are investigating Religions through Science, and Science through the developing stages of higher states of human consciousness.

Never before  has there been such a depth of understanding of human development available to all people simultaneously through the advancement of the internet and educational methods and institutions.

Near the end of the 19^th century, Western philosophical thought was being stimulated by the information brought out by organizations such as the Theosophical Society and  Madam  Blavatsky.  They brought out to the public for the first time terms and ideas that have been taught for thousands of years in India and China. 

The ideas of:  dharma,  karma and reincarnation, gurus, masters, celestial or angelic hierarchies, the devatas, or shining ones, the ‘white brotherhood’ of ascended masters championed by a later group called the Saint Germain  Foundation in the mid 1920’s to the present, human suffering on the path of mastery and eventual enlightenment or ascension…this information and knowledge and experience had its revival at this time in the West. 

About the same time, teachers from India first began accepting invitations to attend world congresses on religion and philosophy to discuss and open the Western mind and its philosophies to Eastern thought and philosophies, and Eastern philosophies to the Western method of scientific evaluation and verification.  One of the greatest efforts and achievements in these endeavors was made by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who from the mid 1950's to 2008, brought out the ancient understanding of Vedic wisdom as seen in the light of modern science.  His efforts have revealed not only an Eastern wisdom, but a modern Western scientific understanding to the development of full human mental and spiritual potential and brought this within the grasp of all members of the human family.  Many millions of people around the world currently benefit from the teachings and meditation practice he brought out.

The Western languages and cultures had to adopt new vocabulary in order to grasp these new philosophies and mystical realms of thought, and the Eastern languages and cultures had to adopt modern methods of verification to bring out their hidden wisdom  into the light and scrutiny of modern science.

In the 1960’s the title ‘guru’ and ‘master’ caused quite a stir in the Western press and society. Now, they are common-place and seen in the light of those who guide others on both physical and spiritual levels.

I remember when I came home from university in 1971 and told my family I had learned a technique of Transcendental Meditation [TM].  I had studied many meditation techniques, and settled on TM as it had the strongest base of scientific evaluation and verification. This choice of mine stimulated lots of dinner time conversation to say the least.  My father would walk by me when I was meditating and quietly comment that I must be ‘talking to my guru’.

I have been blessed by my teacher.  All that I have gained in personal self-realization, and in understanding our outer active and inner silent mind and soul have come from him.  He brought me to that delicate understanding and experience of the Presence of God within my heart.

I have come to appreciate and not be afraid of the Churches in our modern times, and have come to understand the basis of modern Christianity in ways I just did not understand before these insights were shared with me.  I have come to understand and be divinely inspired by the Presence of Christ in my life.  For this, I give a great thanks to Phylis.

I spoke with my teacher on several occasions about the inner experiences that I have had since a boy concerning beings of light that radiated light like a newly risen sun; cities and worlds of radiance that existed within the fabric of the infinite nature surrounding us.  He gave me the insight that these beings and levels of life were naturally existing in the hierarchies of nature.  It was my job to purify my body and mind to be able to develop the clear transcending to integrate life and allow it to function in a grounded manner life on earth, while simultaneously being able to be tuned to these more subtle regions or dimensions of life. 

He always reminded me that life could be lived on a 200% level of life.  100% outer practical physical living of dynamic activity, and a 100% inner  reality of life where dynamic Silence exists and pervades all levels of action in order to give infinite stability to the field of infinite change.

It is for this that I have practiced over 26,000 hours of meditation and 8000 hours of yoga, and have lived a life of growing dynamism and success.  Why have I dedicated so much of my life to these pursuits?  I have hopes of inspiring those whom I meet, and receive the inspiration from them also, for all of us to live this 200% reality. 

There is a phrase which comes from my teacher:

“All Glory to Guru Dev”

And there is a phrase which comes from the human heart:

“All Glory to God”

May we all be united in this one and common source.

The Sanctuary of the Sun

In every generation, mankind has been blessed with the support, guidance, protection and blessings of God and the Mighty Beings of Light and Guardians of Nature's that are the architects, and builders and maintainers of Nature's great diversity since the first days of Creation.

There are many names for these custodians of Nature.  Each culture and tradition speak of these Beings who serve the will of God.  These Angels and Devatas, Mighty Cosmic Beings, Great Lords of Earth and Heaven, the Celestial and Heavenly Hosts and those Master Messengers sent to Earth by the Loving Blessing of God, move and live in the active Presence of God, the Mighty I AM Presence, to offer unconditionally a Service to all created beings, without which, life on Earth would continue to become more and more lost in the expansion of boundaries.

These boundaries have been structured in and by the creative ability of the human mind. Man has for some crazy reason, temporarily chosen to use his free will to transform the Unlimited Power, Light and Majesty of Divine Consciousness into action which currently subjects all life on earth to nearly endless suffering brought on by wars, pollution of Earth's natural resources, and man's inhumanity to man.

The course of time has turned for our Blessed Earth. The efforts of an ever growing number of human beings, in deepening their Inner Silence and making their calls of service and prayer have brought a response from God and these Great Hosts of Light who ceaselessly send their assistance and blessings to help us re-discover and recover our birthright as co-creators in this Universe.  We are beginning to live our individual lives while being simultaneously filled up and guided by the Unbounded, Eternal Existence of the Light and Love Divine.

On a daily basis, we should express our unending appreciation and gratitude to God and these great and wonderful Beings of Light, both human and divine, for the service they render, unconditionally, to all of mankind.

The Springtime of the human spirit is revealing to the human ego, intellect, mind, emotions and life of every single man, woman and child on this great planet of ours, the ancient and true connection which has been the only and true friend of man since the dawn of individualized human consciousness—where the realization of `I and My Father are One’ is revealed in its Full Glory.
